The Go Viral Study is an ongoing study in the Chunara lab at NYU tracking the spread of viruses across the globe. We tackle this by engaging participants to submit information about their health and send in samples of their spit which is analyzed in a lab for viruses. We are looking at the common cold and the flu but plan to monitor a host of viruses as the study progresses.
